DISTRICT 2 INFO
District 2 Business meetings are held the first Sunday of every month at YANA, 3pm. I encourage groups listed above to send a General Service Representative (GSR) to both District 2 and Area 15 meetings so the group’s voice can be heard and votes conducted on matters affecting Alcoholics Anonymous as a whole. The next District 2 business meeting will be Sunday, March 6, 2011.
The District 2 Business Meeting was held on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at YANA. A Minority Opinion Appeal to the AA Fellowship packet was provided to all GSRs and DCMs in attendance. I have included the below link regarding the packet:

Please submit any minority opinions to our current Delegate, Joni E.,delegate@area15aa.org and aaminorityopinion@gmail.com
AREA 15 INFO
Area 15 Quarterly will be April 15-17th, 2011, hosted by District 6. Below is one motion set on the Agenda for the next quarterly:
Motion 1:
That an ACM attending the Area 15 quarterlies can vote as an ACM “at-large” if any DCM from that district is not present. Respectfully submitted: Jerry E DCM, Sub district R
District 7 / Area 15
Background: Since the districts are encouraged to create a sub district for every eight groups, then it should not matter how many DCMs or ACMs from a district are counted as voting members of the assembly as long as the total does not exceed one representative for every eight registered groups in the district. DCMs and ACMs should be allowed to vote for their district as a whole, and their votes should not be reflective of the group conscience of the particular sub district which originally elected these officers to represent them.
