PUBLIC INFORMATION COOPERATION WITH THE PROFFESSIONAL COMMUNITY COMMITTEE

Alcoholics Anonymous has a long history of cooperating with professional organizations and providing information to the public about A.A. upon request. District 2’s Committee on Public Information and Cooperation with the Professional Community (PI/CPC Committee) seeks to strengthen and expand communications with the general public, the media, and with those who may come in contact with alcoholics through their professions.

District 2 serves the Tampa area, including all of Hillsborough County and eastern Pasco County.  We are available to provide information, literature, and/or speakers about Alcoholics Anonymous to:

• Health care providers and their patients
• Professional and civic organizations
• Employers and employees
• Teachers and students
• Clergy and congregations
• DUI schools
• Senior centers
• Newspapers, Radio and TV

We are happy to respond to invitations to set up a table or booth at health fairs, community events, or professional conferences.
