D2 Biz Meeting Update

October:

Motion 1 was passed, adding subdistricts to the district to better serve the groups.

Motion2 was amended to read: “to send the 2010 Gratitude Dinner proceeds to the General ServiceOffice NY.” and it passed.

Motion 3 was amended to read: “ To transfer the prudent reserve CDand the operating account to be moved to Chase bank in order to start a new account” and it passed.

Chair’s appointment of the District Dispatch Chair was accepted by the body.

November:

Motion 1 passed – That a Non-funded committee be created to manage the placement of groups within District 2 Subdistricts.This committee will meet once every three months to attend to changes that need to be made within ourSubdistricts. The committee will consist of, at least, 2 DCMs and the District Registrar. The committeemeeting will be open to any trusted servant.

Area 15 Biz Meeting Update

October Assembly

Motion 1 – passed

That the Ad Hoc Committee For Remote Communities be extended through the July 2012 Area 15 business meeting. Respectfully submitted, Cathy M. Chairman, District 8

Motion 2 – passed

Area 15 shall create a line item for the host committee of the 2012 Southeast Regional Forum.  The amount would be equal to that of the Host District Quarterly Contribution, currently set at $750. Respectfully submitted, Aaron T. Area 15 Finance Chai
